The 1^st official Concrete Society of Southern Africa event was hosted by our Western Cape Branch on 05 September 2024 with a Careers in Concrete evening held at the University of Cape Town.

Our 3 x Speakers were:

• Matteo Angelucci from Zutari;
• Prof Gideon van Zijl from Stellenbosch University; and
• Werner Jerling from ASLA

We would like to thank them for regaling us with stories, insights and advice from their respective careers in engineering, academia and contracting.  Inspiring stories, with big shoes to fill!
