By working hand in hand with our members and other industry stakeholders, our current goal is to focus on the following 5 key areas:
Forming task driven committees, rewarding excellence and pursuing relevant industry goals.
Developing & fostering supportive collaborations with other industry bodies, government institutions, educational and technical institutions, regulatory bodies, businesses, NGOs and emerging enterprises.
Delivering a unified & strong technical platform by supporting research, providing technical, hands-on training and coordinating technical events.
Representing the collective interests of members and other stakeholders by promoting and upholding industry standards.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of The Concrete Society of Southern Africa is to augment the industry as a whole and promote value creation of cement and concrete in Southern Africa.
This is all achieved through the CSSA being an independent, neutral and representative non-profit organization. Members are represented by a Council that reports to our Board of Directors. The Board meets regularly and is fully committed to achieving our set goals.
