Philip Ronné, PrEng IntPE(SA) is a Technical Specialist in bridge engineering at AECOM SA (Pty) Ltd. He holds MSc(Eng) and BSc(Eng) degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town. He specializes in the concrete materials and technology, structural rehabilitation, asset management and bridge engineering fields. Philip has significant project-related experience pertaining to the service-life design of structures, durability planning, inspection, condition assessment, diagnostic testing, corrosion surveys, structural and forensic assessment of structures, design and assessment of repair strategies, detail design of remedial work, contract documentation, and constructability planning for the rehabilitation and maintenance of a wide variety of infrastructure assets.
