CONCRETEFiX 5.9 – Design for Additive Construction

Additive construction, or 3D printed concrete construction, is growing globally and projected to have a 3% market share of global construction by 2032. This webinar will start by presenting the current footprint and the technical status of 3D printable concrete materials, structures and construction technology. Secondly, additive construction case studies of design assisted by testing are presented, ending with the current status of design standards for 3D printed concrete. Finally, the identified requirement of a 3D concrete printing specialist in the design and construction team is motivated.
