DESCRIPTION:By Sarah Skorpen & Megan Brink\, from the University of Pretoria \nThis presentation will cover some of the material testing done by the SANRAL 7a2 Integral Bridge Research Group. Results show that the aggregate type used to make concrete has a significant effect on the stiffness (E-value)\, thermal expansion\, drying shrinkage and creep of the concrete despite the concrete having the same characteristic strength.
